Happy July!

This first day of July is starting off hot and humid. The sky is dark which means we'll be getting rain and maybe even some thunderstorms. We had thunder and some lightening last night but very little rain and it didn't amount to much. It's just dreary looking outside this morning. I had wanted to go to a local (what we call the bread store) outlet which sells day old bread, muffins, and all sorts of cakes and donuts. Everything is brand name and sells for less than half price of what is charged at the supermarket. I usually stock up on stuff when I shop there and put it all in the freezer. Not only is it a huge savings but freezing it keeps it fresher. But, with the sky as dark as it is my trip to the bread store will have to be put on hold until next week. I certainly don't want to get caught in a downpour or booming thunder. Does the weather affect your plans or do you go out anyway if the weather is bad?

Today is Canada's birthday and the big stores are all closed. Only a few corner small stores are open.

When my kids were little I had a freezer filled with day old bread and other bakery items. One of my good friends ventured to the bakery outlet and brought me enough to fill my freezer. Of course I let her use my freezer to store her items too. It was the least I could do for her generosity.

My freezer isn't stocked but it's full enough when I go shopping at the outlet. It was nice of you to let your friend share your freezer space

If it is pouring down rain I will wait until the rain stops.

I tend to stay in when the weather is bad. When I was younger, it did not bug me, but now it does.

Me too. The older I get the more weather factors into my venturing out

I certainly didn't let the weather bother me last night when we went out to dinner. Busyness day today, and just got home. No weather will stop me, just as long as I have cute rain gear to wear. Lol!

Depends on what we're trying to do as to if we go out in bad weather. If its for food. We normally go.

Sometimes, the weather will affect my plans. It does happen. I sometimes have to change them depending on what my plans are and what the weather is like.

In Oregon we have had over 40 inches of rain so far this year, but it has been dry lately. Umbrellas are shunned by "real" Oregonians too.We had a brief shower early this morning, I was surprised to see.It is only hitting the low 80s after the clouds burn off lately.

Weather is usually a factor in plans. However, if you have to work or absolutely have to do something, you do it regardless of the weather.

Appointments are something that we always have to keep, raining or not. But I always use the excuse of bad weather to avoid gardening.
