Hot humid holiday / myLot

It is a hot and humid holiday. Things are not going exactly how I planned with work outside, but it will wait. Something has been digging in my container gardens. Not sure what. I am sure it is not Princess.Maybe a possum or a raccoon interested in the compost it contains. My image is from a fireworks display a few years ago. I think we will go to one tonight. At least that is the plan. Hubby is watching food network. I am doing lots of home things. This is about the time summer begins to get really hot. It feels really strange to be so normal. Hubby can drive if he chooses to. I do not have to go to work tomorrow with him. I have not been inside a Wal Mart today. My laundry is nearly finished. I have moved furniture. How boring and mundane can one get. I hope everyone enjoys and appreciates the freedoms they have. Those in the US, please celebrate safely. Have a popping good time..

I'm watching the live telecast from my recliner. Can't get safer than that. I watched a movie and did laundry today. That was my day in a nutshell. Happy 4th of July and I hope you enjoy the fireworks tonight.

We actually had a lovely time going to a lake to see fireworks, instead of the big hullabaloo we were going to go to.

I forgot to say, it could also be squirrels. They really did a job on onions, tomatoes and cucumbers. They left the herbs alone, and the cabbages. One lavender plant looks as if something laid on it.

long to have my freedom soon. Feels like I am chained at the moment. I think I am in the same situation. I cant remember the last time we went to watch a good movie. :( sad....
