For the first time all summer

For the first time all summer I went back to bed and back to sleep this morning. Hubby has been taking lots of naps when he is not working. When he has been working I have been shopping or sitting somewhere. I have sometimes dozed off sitting up, but that is not the same as a good rest. i have been having a hard time getting enough sleep, and not sleeping well at night. I was really grateful for that extra two hours rest. I have included a photo of my shed, as I plan to get some things pulled out of it today. I have some exercise equipment I am wanting to put in the big shed. There are so many things I want to get done, and phone calls I have to make. It feels good to be home alone. This is the first day hubby was legal to drive alone in to work.

Glad you got a bit of sleep Heather. Your place looks lovely with all the trees around it. I hope you will be able to get some done today. Yay hubby is okay to drive now.

What ever gets done it is all good. I have got yogurt making, and dishes washed. I know what is for supper. Lots of laundry clean.

@TiarasOceanView No, I always have high expectations, but if it gets too hot outdoors I stay in. I am moving a couple of queen sized beds because both of the lawnmowers are defying me.

So many things to do and not enough time to do everything in. I learned that I had cut back on my endeavours as I was fighting a losiing battle in many ways. Now learned other ways around it to get things done even better.

Glad you got in that extra sleep (wish it were possible to do that more often) . . . it can do wonders! If we had a shed, oh there would be a million things I'd need to put in it .

I am trying hard to keep it to it's purpose of sewing and crafting supply storage. Right now there are some things destined for a yard sale and some garden supplies in it as well.

@GardenGerty Oh, if I could have a shed outdoors for craft stuff, it would solve so many storage issues that we have inside . . . but craft stuff would never do well in our heat. I hope to do an overhaul on "stuff" and donate them!

@much2say Fabric and yarn can handle heat. Paint and glue are in a closet inside.

Sheds should come with every house!! One did with our latest and there is just so much that you can store inside of one if you plan it all out. :)

@GardenGerty I don't think that we could do without one when we go looking for our next house... maybe next spring. We are all kind of homesick!

I am looking towards cleaning my Florida room. We managed to store stuff in there that we want to get rid of and now it is stuffed to the brim. It definitely needs some work. Between that and being online it should be a busy day. I won't be going outside today, it should be getting up to about 95 degrees. Definitely too hot for me.

That is tomorrow's predicted high. I will not be out in the middle of the day. I tend to turn every spare space into a storage space. In five weeks my daughter will be here for a visit. I have to get the bedrooms set up for that.

@GardenGerty that's wonderful. How long will she be able to stay. I do the same thing. Any place I can put something is fair game, for instance, my Florida Room is semi filled with things I am working on to get rid of.

These come ready built and rent to own. I would have rather paid cash. The image is before it was centered and anchored. It is MINE. None of hubby's stuff inside . I have the only key.

I think he is. It was hard for him to find out he was not Superman, but I have been exhausted for years. It is normal for me.

It feels kind of odd. I really should have stayed up and worked this morning and had an afternoon nap, but it just felt so good to go back. I had been having trouble sleeping.

@LadyDuck No neighbors to disturb or rules like that. In fact most of the town mows late in the day.

I very seldom get to. I had hoped to this summer as we get up really early for hubby to go to work, and then I work as well.

Oh that is a shed? I thought it was a hut. But your house is built in open space? You gotta be rich ! In malaysia, our houses are linked to each other

In some places in the US houses are built along side of each other, or they are apartments. I am not rich, I just live in a rural, sparsely populated area. I own four city lots. I ordered this shed for storage of just my sewing and crafting things. Hubby has lots of tools and automotive items in the shed that was here when we moved in.

Well, lately with my health I can understand. The other day I was putting together a bin to take to the Flea Market I sell at which mostly has School supplies in it, and now been feeling a little more pain in the area where they did the surgery, so not sure if they are tied in together or not saying I overdid things. Have a wound care nurse coming in a bit to check the wound etc. and see how things are progressing.

Tina I am so glad you have someone checking on the wound progress. Do be careful i know you have a hard time healing up when you have a wound.
