Nail Painting Experiment

Good morning Mylotters! It's a wonderful day today. The sun is shining brightly and it is said to be 30 C. I would not have much of the sun outside as I am working inside the wellness studio. Have you tried experimenting with nail painting? Well, I bought a nail brush pencil last week and I tried this last night. It took a while because I am not good with my left hand painting the right hand. As you can see in the photo, that is the outcome. Would you go to a nail shop for manicure and pedicure? I won't go here in Germany as I find it expensive (25 €) and so I do this myself. While in the Philippines, a friend comes to my house for that and it costs me only 50 Pesos (about 1$). Anyway, have a great day or evening. See you later in between my work. Ciao!

I don't my friend. But I had seen some male tribes in Kalinga who paint their nails.

it is obvious, it is in their culture to have painted nails, right?

I'm more satisfied if i do my nails myself. I've tried nail art several times before but not my favorite.

That looks pretty good, actually! I thought you had it done for you... I went to a nail shop before and had all my finger nails and toes done in different colors and patterns...

I do myself because it is also very expensive here in Switzerland. I pain my nails with transparent or pink color, but I do not do paintings.

That is nice, because you now know how to paint your nails the artistic way, that is the craze nowadays. I have bought a nail polish that has a very pointed brush, only to discover that it's for nail art. Well, it's just there in my small tray of nail polish. I will ask my sister first how to use it.

Yes, we have to pamper ourselves once in a while @BelleStarr. Sometimes I had to go to a pedicure shop as it is difficult to paint my own feet.

$1 sounds good but may correspond to the price in Germany if you compare how much people earn here and there.

I agree with you @MALUSE. The price of the nail polish is cheaper there than here. Beside that the salary is also cheap.

Some beauty procedures can be very expensive can't they? Your nails look great. You'll have to practice more with your left hand.

Is that your fingers, well, doing it for yourself is more practical, unless you don't know how to do it.

i stopped growing my nails so many years ago, i had to search online images of nail brush pencils to see what they look like. hahaha! i agree that it looks good for a first attempt. does the pencil only come in white?

The pencil is empty @hereandthere. You only have to dunk it in a nail polish you want to use. White or other color.

They look pretty good for the first try. lol I get professional manicures and pedicures. If I have any nails decorated, I only do the ring fingers on both hands with a little flower and rhinestone, and only in the summer. Once in a while, I do my own nails, too. I have all the equipment.
