My favourite snack is dry fruits. I buy some here and also get them online. My niece dropped by the other day and brought me some goodies and there I found some dates which she said came from Dubai. I have never tasted such juicy dates and also huge in size.
I searched the Net and did find a seller through amazon who has this item. I have just ordered and keeping my finger crossed. As you know there are dates and dates.
Are they easily available for you?

Around 10 dollars per kilo. I am waiting for the parcel and will get back to you if I get what I have ordered for.

There are many kinds of dates in my country. Most of the time we will use them to make the soup or dessert. Sometimes we will also have the raw dates but they are harder. I haven't tried the dates from Dubai and they look so attractive. I am sure that they taste well.

I live in Hyderabad, and here, it is a time every year when Muslims fast and eat dates. So yes, we get ample of them in some seasons. They are ok..not a great fan of these. Normally, I stick to peanuts. I am told eating more almonds or cashew nuts is not healthy. Imagine eating only 4 almond nuts or 4 cashew nuts..hah..better stick to peanuts.

I too eat peanuts I have ordered for saltless peanuts. These dates that i am talking about are not freely available although many other varieties we get in shops here.

@amadeo I am very fond of all types of dry fruits and have eaten many different types of dates but these are so juicey and sweet.
