Off to Apple for my computer's fate

Mylotters, I'll be going temporarily offline this morning, since I'll be shutting down my computer and packing it into my laptop case for Apple in ten minutes. My brother will pick me up in 15 minutes from here to go there as it's our first stop this morning. So please think of me at 10 AM EST, when I talk to Apple's Genius Bar on my computer situation. I'm not too optimistic if they can fix it, since the damage had been done almost ten months ago. If I had the money to do it last year, it would've prevented a lot of headaches and grief. It would be a miracle for an easy fix, like swapping out the hardware and keyboard, and the repair time would be less than a week long. And inexpensive to boot. When I had to go to Apple two years ago to repair my hardcase, I was sidelined with no computer for 2 weeks and paid $180 for it. If they said it's toast, I would go to Apple Store or Best Buy to buy a new computer. If that's the case, as soon as I get my new laptop set up and installed everything, I'll be back on line to give you a final report after I have lunch and go shopping with my brother. On a side note, there's no change in the weather forecast for tonight's yoga class. Still rain and thunderstorms, since the rain had started this morning. I'll see you guys later afternoon.
