Favorite Christian Movies List - Left Behind

Now to put these in any particular order would be wrong as all these movies are number one to me. So I'll probably list them in the order of the ones I've seen the most often. Left Behind is a series of three movies, inspired by the Best-Selling book series by Timothy LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins. It is a series of 16 books and I've read all of them. I enjoyed the original Left Behind, Left Behind II Tribulation Force and Left Behind - World at War very much. With the theme of this series being the rapture and the beginning of the Tribulation, it would be difficult to depict on screen everything the books contained, but the producers and directors did a good job with the movies. I also liked the most recent Left Behind with Nicolas Cage as the flight captain. The original series starred Kirk Cameron, Chelsea Noble, Brad Johnson, and Clarence Gilyard - you might remember him from Walker Texas Ranger. As I said I love these movies and give them a solid thumbs up. Have you seen these movies? What do you think of them? Thanks for reading. Picture is mine

There are a lot of good ones out there. The books leave you on a cliff hanger at the end of each one and they pick up right where the last one ended. I was okay with that until I had to wait a year between the last three or four I read.

@MsBooklover Yes it was and you know I was right there to get my copy as soon as it came out, only to wait another year for the next book. Too bad I don't live closer, I could loan them to you, the movies too.

I'm glad you liked them. There's only one other in the series. World at War. It follows the theme but not the books except in a very broad sense.

It's also a very good movie. His movie only covers the flight. The original covers a lot more.

I haven't seen this movie or read the book. I hope I can get a copy. I was watching Final - The Rapture, a Christian movie also that was released in 2013. I fell asleep because I was too tired with my trip back and forth.

I haven't heard about that one. There are 16 books in the series and each fall on the heels of the last. They really keep you on the edge of your seat.

I have never seen the movie but know it was a huge success. Kirk Cameron is married to Chelsea Noble in real life.

Yes she is, and they did a movie together that I saw about a year ago, but the name escapes me. They were husband and wife in the movie.
