What a day, it's been in the 70s all day today and the humidity has been high. It's been really nice not sweatin all day long.
Gonna stay in the low 90s the rest of the week PLUS we're supposed to get rain all week too.
Boy, when I asked for rain you guys didn't hold back ..... Thank You all. Of course, if there's lightening I'm sending it back, you know that right?
Yepper, our planet is changing

Here in north Florida we've had one of the most wettest summers on record. It seems like it has been raining non-stop every day. I mean, it's not unusual for it to rain every day in Florida in the summer, but usually it is in the late afternoon. This summer, the storms start very early in the day and last for hours.

Same here, we don't get a lot of clouds any time of year and yet since mid June it's been cloudy more so than clear skies, I'm not used to that plus our humidity has been over 20% a lot more often than usual, that really is odd for the desert. Thankfully when it was 103 or more it wasn't more than 8% but boy, when a person isn't used to humidity and it gets to 95 with 25% it's hard to handle.

Yeah, I'm in the desert and significant bodies of water are 100s of miles away in any direction @moffittjc

@rebelann Wow! Humidity as low as 8%!!! That's unheard of here in Florida. I don't think I've ever seen our humidity lower than 40%, due to the fact that we are surrounded by water on three sides!

Now that is odd @TiarasOceanView CO is usually cooler than we are. What next? We'll get the snow instead of you? Oh good grief, I hope not.

Thank you, she is such an expressive pup. So you did send us your rain and apparently I sent ya our wind and heat, sorry about the wind that wasn't intended but you know how the Great Spirit is so it's not entirely up to me ...... I don't like lightening sorry you got that too.

I know that feeling too @sallypup before July 14 we were getting 100+ to high 90s then suddenly we were in the high 80s and now mid 70s and perhaps back to mid 90s.
The real problem is the humidity. Usually it's well below 20% sometimes it'll be 5% to 9% for days when it's really hot but that's changed, recently it's been in the 30% range or higher and that is hard for me to get used to.

I have to say it is a pleasant July here as well, it's humid which is very unusual and it's not nearly as hot as previous years which is nice since mobile homes are like cars and absorb heat which makes them hotter inside than outside.

I think it depends on which end of Chili you're in @nanette64 , I recall @marguicha commenting about one part of Chili being more likely to get snow in winter.

Hmmmm, the only thing I can remember about the beach was being very happy walking in that sand then put out a beach towel to enjoy the view (west coast) and after about 30 mins I began to itch like crazy, turns out they had sand fleas which found me tasty .... thankfully they only went for my feet, but still, I didn't much care for that so I didn't go back. That was in the mid 1970s and I was so happy to get back home. It was a pretty view watching the sunset though.
