“Why do Americans love road trips?”

I had read a short article that majority of Americans love a road trip. It can be seen through their shared photos and blogs on the internet. The common reason why they love road trip is simply having the freedom to travel wherever they want to go. Personally speaking, I also love road trips from different places and if there is a chance, then I will definitely have my backpack ready.
“Are you fond of a road trip?”
“What do you think about it?”

I love road trips as long as we stop often. I hate being stuck in the car for long periods of times.

This country is so big so there is so much to see and on the road is long.
The scenery is absolutely wonderful and the different towns are so nice.
From big to small towns.
Also each state here is so unique, like travel to a different country even.

@TiarasOceanView Same here, my friend. My reckless nephew crashed the car. Since I was a volunteer before, I find enjoyable to commute by buses.

@Shavkat Yes it is, but I do no longer do this Shavkat..no car, but if I really want to go somewhere, there is the buses that go places and the trains.

Honestly I too love road trips . The best ones are those that happen without much planning. We did that once when we had an unexpected holiday and combined with the weekend we had three days , more than enough to go on a trip. We went to a small city in the Western ghats, stayed there with a local family who offer rooms and breakfast , in the midst of nature. It was one of the best trips we ever had

backpacking solo is some kind of a good road trip because nobody else tells you what to do. if ever you go on road trips, just be careful kabsat.

I travel around here alot, but have taken roadtrips out of state a few times. I mostly liked the hours of musicand the scenic views.

Yes, most people I know love road trips - or vacations. It's a time to get away from the normal grind and relax and do something different. I would love to do it more often than I do. My last 'road trip' was last October and that was the first one in over 40 years.

@Shavkat I don't have one planned as of today, but I'm sure this month I will do several. Next month though I'm sticking close to home...my latest and long awaited grandson is due! It's been 16 years since I've had a grandchild. So I won't be budged out of my house and miss the birth!

@Shavkat yes we can, I always want a good traveller to travel with. I'm doing ok, battling a swollen tooth and all. And it's only been maybe 2 days! Lol. Hope all is well with you!
