To black Friday or not?

I recently went shopping on black friday and it was a horrible mess. Lines at four in the morning and rumors that people were lining up at midnight. The traffic people encountered while trying to get to the shopping places. Is it worth it??? Not for me. I didn't get the notebook at Best buy, that was going for about $400. The line was so unorganized and people were cutting and getting away with it. Urrgggh! Frustrated and sleepy. Blcak friday wasn't too eventful for me. I was exhausted when I finally got back hom at 7am. Any one got anything good???

More like time because there are some great deals if you get there early enough. But perhaps a waste of gas money too.

This is the first year in a long time that I have not been required to work on Black Friday since I worked in retail for a long time. I stayed in bed. Black Friday is a rip anyway, as an assistant buyer for a regional department store I learned the the Black Friday pricing is usually repeated throughout December and there are usually deeper discounts in December.

It was annoying. Gosh! There were great deals if you were early enough to catch 'em. Maybe you'll get 'em next year!

Wow. Where did you shop? And were you up early? That's great though. I wish I didn't have any problems.

I can't say I got anything too good.. let's see I bought a gmae for my nephew and things like that.. I had to get a raincheck for a sale item because they were immediately out! Eeck! The lines weren't too bad though because I went in the afternoon, not in the daytime.

I was suppose to be shopping for x-mas presents. Instead I spent most of my money on me. I need supervision when shopping. Especially when the deals are out.

I did it once years ago and never again. It is not worth fighting the crowd.

I went to wal-Mart and it wasn't too bad. I bought a portable DVD player for $50 for my son.

I did not get anything good, just a bunch of clothing that was on sale. Most of the clothes were $50 and were on sale for $10.

Sweet! Clothes on sale are always a good thing, that is if it's to your liking!

I learned to try and get all of my shopping done before Thanksgiving. I can't stand waiting in the lines and the pushy people that start coming out. If there is anything I need I try and go out after hours when people are normal home in bed.

Now that's a smart shopper! I told myself I was going to make gifts again this year since I really didn't shop for too many people. People really can get pushy and the patience is checked at the door!
