Is there anyone on the face of the planet who has not seen at least one episode of “I Love Lucy”? Of course there are many but you get the point. What can one say about “I Love Lucy”? The greatest most popular and influential TV sitcom in history. The classic standing above all others in universal acknowledgment of #1 all time across the boards. The adventures of the Ricardo’s and Mertz’s never grow old. The familiar Cuban flavored theme performed by the Desi Arnaz Orchestra was composed by Harold Abramson and Eliot Daniel. Lyrics were added and Ricky sang “I Love Lucy” at the Tropicana.

I absolutely love I Love Lucy and have seen just about every episode! interestingly, my kids have taken a liking to the show, although they have only seen a few episodes.

@JohnRoberts After reading your post, I went digging around in my CD collection to see if I could find an old CD I used to have (but to no avail, I couldn't find it). It was a CD of 25 classic tv them songs from the 60s, 79s and 80s. I know I still have it somewhere, I just need to find it.

You are right...It would be hard to find a person who hasn't watched this series. .It was telecast in the 80s when there was only this one channel in India.

That was another great theme song, and a show that really has stood the test of time..largely due to Lucy's comedic talent and the genius of Desi Arnaz.
