Our Vacation

My husband and I, son and his best friend and my parents all went on a vacation. We went to French Lick Indiana and stayed in the French Lick Resort. Have you heard of this place? It is in Southern Indiana. The resort has much to offer like golfing, swimming, horse back riding, bicycling and a Casino. My husband and I biked some and swam in the pool. My son and his friend golfed and my parents mostly played the slot machines in the Casino.
One thing that is interesting about the town, is that it and a few other areas around it are the only portion of Indiana that is in the Eastern Time Zone. The rest of the State is in the Central Time Zone.
The picture is one I took. It is a view off the front porch of the French Lick Hotel we stayed in. The front porch was nice to sit on. It had nice rocking chairs.

What a lovely time you have had.
That is interesting to know half is Eastern and the other is Central time.
Glad you are back now bet you miss it a bit do you or no?

Yes, I do miss it. I wish we could have stayed a few days longer. The food was very good.

@TiarasOceanView The food was extra. Some of the restaurants were more expensive than others.

Yes, the area is out in the middle of nowhere, it seems. Then all of a sudden , amid the cornfields , the town and resort appear.

Indiana does not participate in Daylight Savings Time. Several states are in two different time zones that's fairly common. TN is in two and we are just a few miles from the Central Zone.
