Animals Bullying Animals

To me its something to watch but I can bet to that animal being bullied its no fun at all! For the past few days I have watched birds that are nothing more than bullies! Poor Roscoe , he did not eat all his dry food and I sat and watched the birds fly down, grab a piece and take off, I am used to this and I don`t mind BUT Roscoe minded! I seen him jump and snap at each bird that was stealing his food. The bird would dive bomb Roscoe and grab food and Roscoe would chase him back into the air. While visiting Tony`s family me and the Aunt sat on the patio and she told me about the humming birds, One of the feeders was not to be shared! I have never seen a humming bird sit on a perch the man made for it at the top of the feeder and guard a feeder like this one did, it did not care we were 5 feet from it. But another humming bird dare to feed there? No way. it ran it off. BUT the other feeder was just fine and dandy for all of them to eat from. This one was tiny and black and white, I seen a red throat and many of the iridescent colored humming birds. Seems birds are meaner than I thought! Besides being hit in the head by bird crap, I have never had a bird bother me. How about you a bird ever got after you or have you watched animals bullying animals? Art by me - called humming bird.

Is that artwork a painting? I have never had a problem with a bird. I have seen some very aggressive dogs.

Poor Roscoe is right! Birds can be very aggressive when their babies are young. I've seen sparrows dive bomb students as they lined up for bus dismissal. Some chirp at Doodles and me on our daily walks. However, Orville the osprey is so sweet!

I sometimes watch our flocks of magpies at home in Australia and believe me, it's a jungle in their world. Some are really vicious and they will gang up and kill one of their own kind if it is out of its own territory. Poor Roscoe. I bet he hates those birds.

Yep, we put out food for the birds who come flying in our garden. Well we have three medium sized birds with long tails. No idea what they are but when little birds start feeding and these big ones get hungry they flap their long tails and chase the little ones away. Then they eat as much as they want to.

Yep, animals do love to bully each other like us. In that we could compare ourselves to them. Like chimps who are always fighting or bullying.
