It Takes Me Forever To Make Up My Mind

It's not like it's an earth-shattering decision. I only need to buy a new purse. I've been on Amazon a thousand times, shopped the local stores. I have a basic idea of what I want. I know what color. But dang, the choices are plentiful and I just keep meandering from one choice to another. It's so silly. I tend to live with one purse for a long time. It has to have a lot of pockets to separate all my junk. I once tried to eliminate and streamline what I carry but, alas, it was all necessary. Ha ha. Are you a person who quickly makes up your mind when you make a purchase? Or do you drag it out like me?

Maybe it's because I'm cheap and want to make sure I spend my money wisely. :))

Sometimes I need a bit longer, but a purse (which is a handbag, isn't it?) isn't such a big problem for me. I have three in different colours.

Yes, a handbag. If I find the perfect one, I might buy a couple more in different colors. Good idea.

I agree, I'd rather come home with nothing than to settle for something that's not exactly what I want.

I once walked around in a store for a long time with a pair of boots in my cart. In the end I put them back on the shelf. :))

I think sometimes we know exactly what we want and then it's easier.

I'm more like you. I'll go in with the idea that I know exactly what i want then when I'm there I'm like but wait what if this is better, this one is bigger or nicer etc

I must have compared and measured a dozen handbags before I decided.

I'll take my time, but if I take too long I just tell myself I'm being silly and just to pick already. Sometimes I have to be harsh with myself.

It will sometimes take me a while to make up my mind. I have a hard time making a decision. Making a decision quickly has not always been easy for me.

I know this song, not my favorite though. But you're not alone when it comes longer thinking...Sometimes it's hard to make up my mind as well.

I make quick decisions. When I need something I visit my favorite store first, I look around and if I see something I like, I buy.

I went thru this last year at this time - I finally went to Belk and found one for way more than I wanted to spend. But it was perfect...the girl said if I opened a credit card I would save 40% - so I did and I got the bag and never used the card again. But I got a beautiful Fossil all leather bag. I am not a shopper - I' am a buyer.

I finally found one that is just right and was affordable too. I really don't like to shop either.

I always think I'll see something else that I like even better, so yes, I don't decide quickly when shopping either.

@suziecat7 Some do. Several years ago a woman told me her and her boyfriend were going to a party. They stopped at a store to pick up cheese. She said it took him 30 minutes to decide what cheese to buy. When they were together for a couple of years and she got tired of waiting for him to propose so she broke up with him saying they were going nowhere and started dating someone else. It didn't take him long to decide to propose after that. Now they are married.

I try not to buy in a hurry and regret later - so I do take a bit of time when shopping.

It depends on what I am buying. If it is something expensive than I like to make sure that is what I really want.

Shoes are not so bad for me because I usually go with what's the most comfortable. I don't like my feet hurting.
