What are you waiting for

We kept seeing people say that we need to wait for the opportunity to arrive for us and also we should hit the Iron when it's hot. But these days things have changed. We need to make opportunities and look for opportunities rather than waiting for and hit the Iron to make it hot. I totally believe in that. Your views please.

Interesting, but how do you think to "make opportunities"? To help the fate is a good thing, but to create opportunity is a hard task.

I mean for example if one is looking for a job, then he needs to apply at no. of places and cannot wait by applying to one or two places only and wait for the results
