I very much enjoyed meeting my friend at 6 this morning. It was in the town where I had trainings all day. Surprise--school district is paying me mileage to come.
I am getting stuff done here at home.
Hubby has been preparing our evening meals. It is nice because he likes to cook. I wish he liked to do dishes.
I have been staying up too late, and should not do that. So this is basically just me popping in. When I work, I have a hard time getting here.

@Courtlynn Growing up when my mom made hamburgers they were more like hockey pucks. Hubby has a good hand at getting them just right.

He made hamburgers, nice, thick, juicy, with cheddar cheese. So just burgers and fixings. But they were very good.

That seems to be very normal. My son in law does dishes and cleans. He is great, at his house.

Glad you are finding a way to work around things. If he puts the dishes in a hot soapy water its a breeze to do them. It's the hard, coated with ?? that I don't like.

We even have a dishwasher. It is hard to get him to remember to rinse his glass of juice, or his smoothie.

On occasion my husband or son do the dishes, , but it is mostly my job

I have blamed that on the fact that my husband has worked in restaurants, cooking, and others always cleared the table and washed the dishes. It is not fair if I just say "It's a man thing" but it seems to be.
