This was on facebook today... it looks like good fun, and a good way to exercise... but..., the price takes it out of most people's ability to buy one...
Its part bicycle and part treadmill ...

I would love to have a go on one... the same as a segway... I'd love to have a go on one of those too ... quite a lot of cities hire them out, as a way of sightseeing... and if I ever come across one, and it's reasonably priced, I'd have a go...

@sueznewz2 Sometimes it's hard even walking. Sometimes coming back from the grocery store, I take a little road that is shorter, but it is so steep that I arrive at home exhausted.

The photos on top are motorized segway type things, yes. But lower left is similar to my carving scooter, only I have 3 wheels, 2 in the back. It is like a kid's frog scooter, only made for adults. It is great fun going downhill, but a very strenuous workout going even slightly up.

they are similar to a scooter... @drannhh but... the treadmill part... that you walk on...instead of scooting with one leg... drives a small motor which increases your speed and you go further too..

Actually riding a Segway is not easy, I tried and was not very successful and hubs with his Parkinson's could not master it at all, very disappointing since he was a motorcycle rider before this happened.

@sueznewz2 My feet hurt me, they cramped up, you need to gripe it in an awkward way I thought but yes I think it might help.

@sueznewz2 I'd get Vince to try it and he could say if he thought I could manage. My balance isn't the best any more and I seem to take longer to process stuff than I used to.
