Ways for me to save money or expenses

Hopefully . there will be more rainy days to come so that i will not use my air conditioning that often so as to save money on my monthly bills on electricity. Besides that i think the big factor for me to say more money is to cut down on how often i eat outside . Besides i know how to cook great tasting healthy foods so there's no need for me to go out and eat on my favourite fast food chains. Although sometimes i miss eating on thosebecause i have some craving for the taste of fast food. But many times the food that i cook at home is a bit better than those i buy on fast food chains. Sometimes the way they cook their food is not as good as they used to be. Just like a few days back, ordered one chicken meal and i got so disappointed with the taste. I ordered a spicy chicken meal but it wasn't spicy at all and the chicken is so cold. This morning i cooked a milkfish and wrapped it with alluminum foil and inside the fish are chopped tomatoes onions garlic and other spices. Then i fried it with small amount of oil. The finished product is so satisfying and very much healthy. Besides i save a lot of money cooking at home. But for now i'm thinking if i have been spending too much money on things that i should have not specially those that are not that important. For now i have enough shoes and clothes that i am not going to buy anytime soon. i'm just going to keep using all those things i have already and enjoy them. No need for me to keep thinking of other things to buy like cell phones when i have already had two cell phones already. Besides why do i need to buy another cell phone when i have ipad or a tablet besides cell phones. There are lot of things in my home that are still functional but have not been able to use. Like we have these stereo with good speakers that has been sitting on one corner and have not been used at all for many years. so what i did is i looked for a good table to place it on. Now i have been using it for a few weeks already and enjoyed using it almost everyday listening to radio. It was quite expensive stereo.

there are more and more eateries here in our neighborhood to buy cooked food to either eat onsite or to take home. sometimes we will just cook rice then buy ulam (viand) if we're too busy to cook. but no, i only eat at fastfood places probably 2x or 3x a month.

I wish there were some eateries also near my place and need to take a ride which can cause money also that's why i don't buy on those eateries as the transportation cost is like equivalent to one meal already. Also the foods they sell are mostly oily and meats which i try to avoid while the vegetables meal are quite costly which is ridiculous when vegetables are not that expensive compared to meats

Cooking at home will definitely save you some money. Best to not spend money on things you don't need. It's not always easy, but saving is good.

There are many ways to cut expenses. One of the best ways is to unplug electrical items that you are not using. One of the worse is a phone charger. If you are not using your stereo then unplug it and save. look around there are many other items that is costing you. If you have lamps that you very seldom use then unplug them. I could go on and on about this. If you want to learn more than let me know.

Does the phone charger consume a lot of electricity. i don't think so. It won't add much to our monthly bill. That's why I leave the charger plug in the wall socket. I don't unplug my stereo also think about it maybe i should have it unplugged after using it. I was just a lil bit lazy unplugging it. Thanks for the reminder

Yes, cooking our own food could certainly help us save more.Besides, we are assured that healthy food is being served on our table. My family also seldom eats out.

I think it is very important to spend money on food more than on anything else. I love eating vegetables sometimes i buy them for a week supply. But i always make sure that i would be able to cook them before they rot. None of my vegetable get wasted. As the saying goes money saved is money earned

I enjoy cooking and it saves me money. Its good to know exactly what is in the food. My family likes spicy food, so I always use several spices to add flavor to the dish. I'm trying to use products longer, so less money is spent on replacements. I think your doing well saving money.

There are somethings you just have to spend on either you renew or replace them when they are out of use. Cooking at home honestly save more money for you if you really have the time and the ingredients to garnish the food to your taste, only few people eat in restaurant or fast food centre for leisure or fun of it, majority eat in those places because their nature of job and their residential distance to work place won't permits them cooking at home.

I totally agree with you if your home is far away from your work then it's quite impossible to go back home just to eat meals at home. it is more practical for you to eat out or go to those fast food chains. But i am not one of those who goes to work n offices. I have responsibilities at home and so it's one of my responsibility to cook also and make sure to prepare a good meal a healthy one. Specially for me when i have some problems with my blood pressure having difficulty to lower my blood pressure to normal levels. So anyways its beyond the topic.
