Comfort Dessert, Want A Bowl?

A warmer winter, well, we're heading to Spring actually, and my blue mood from yesterday equalled me hunting for comfort food, or in this case, comfort dessert.
What would my comfort dessert be on a warm day? Vanilla, chocolate and caramel ice cream with Smarties on top! Smarties are candy coated milk chocolates.
So yes, I buy ice cream that has a layer of vanilla, chocolate and caramel, I take a scoop of each flavour in a bowl and sprinkle Smarties over it, then I sit down and dive that bowl with a spoon! I like to believe it comforts me.
And I think it did cheer me up a bit yesterday with all of you on myLot also cheering me up, because yet again I was shown we are all just doing the best we can in this journey called life.
I am sure we have all been asked this question many times, but, what dessert or food do you hunt for when you are feeling blue? What is your comfort food? It can be something salty too. My salty comfort food is pop corn and pizza.

Without a doubt, my sweet comfort food is chocolate. Anything that has chocolate in it will do. And the darker the chocolate, the better. I'm a certified chocoholic!
And since you mentioned pizza, I guess that would also be considered a good comfort food for me. Pizza is awesome!

@bluesa too bad i have to regulate my chocolate intake. hahah! when i am given a share of Toblerone or other chocolates, i eat just a couple of triangles, and the rest, i give to my son, who is a chocolate freaking addict. hahaha!

We all need comfort food at one time or another. Mine is definitely something salty. Today I had a bowl of salted and buttered popcorn and hummus with pita chips. I'm not much of a sweet eater, but love ice cream and chocolate turtles with almonds or pecans. As I write this, I just passed on a slice of cake left over from my dinner party last night. It looked very much like the cake your dad bought!!!

@bluesa Surprisingly, my comfort food isn't sweet. Instead it is pizza, which seems to fill my every need, at any meal!:)

I like your comfort foods. I might substitute the Smarties for a crumbled chocolate chip cookie on top of the ice cream, with Hersey's syrup on top, and whip cream on top of that!
And no, I am not overweight if that's what your thinking
Also I love pizza which is good anytime. Ever have cold pizza for breakfast? Back in my college days it was delicioussss!

Oh! I can totally go with that, the chocolate chip cookie crumbled over the ice-cream! Weight? What's that?

@bluesa Ha, Ha! I have a good genes. I can get away with all those toppings. Still at my H.S. weight. I have a constant craving for pizza although these days I take mine a little warmer
