A Free Vacation

Today I was talking to a long time friend on the phone and I was told I can use their house down on the beach anytime I want.
I had mentioned how depressing it can get staying inside all the time because of the rain and Tony stuck here anyways because of the cancer, all the treatment, surgery and recovery.
I discussed my concerns and he told me work out what I need and go down even if for two or three days.
Thinking real hard, should I stay or should I go?

It would be nice to get some fresh air and relax. I hope all goes well with Tony.

@andriaperry If Tony could go with you, then that can ease the stress and allow you two to relax a little.

No I cannot leave him alone, he is not to that point of recovery. He has family there too.

The decision is really up to you but based on what you wrote a short vacation would help you out.

If I can get someone to take care of the animals for 4 days I may be able to swing it later this month.

Tomorrow I get a new schedule and this week I get paid, so I will see about it then.

I think you should go. It's free after all and you need a break badly. I would grab that opportunity if I were you.

maybe start by dropping and just staying for an hour, just to decompress, enjoy the view, the breeze, daydream or think things through, even nap. it's a thoughtful yet practical gesture.
