Singing at parties or karaoke

I don't consider myself a good singer nor a bad singer, but I do love singing at parties and usually am asked to sing a few tunes. It is a good feeling when the songs are coming out good and I can look at the party goers watching me for a few moments. So far, nobody has booed me or tossed a rock my way. The only time I get applause and know I am off key and the words are not exactly (or even close) is when I sing a Thai song and the Thai's think that is cool for a foreigner to even attempt!

Good for you... Karaoke is cool...It allows non singers like me to go up and sing in get-togethers.But I do this only among friends and they are old popular songs that everybody is singing along

I can not understand myself, even if I am not a good singer I love to sing in karaoke and my siblings had a hard time stopping me

You're very brave to do this. I've done a few things in church with a group but I think that's as far as it goes for me.

@jaideemai A real tear jerker heh! But isn't it normal that a too happy person tends to sing sad songs, and vice versa? I would love to sing 'Delilah' with Tom Jones.
