Yes! After almost two and a half days our water came back on last night! I can't tell you the relief of hearing the water bubbling and gurgling into the pipes!
So, I am sorry I disappeared, but, once water returned, there were loads of dishes to wash, surfaces to wash and sanitize!
I made that fruit salad as I said I would and we ended up eating a very late dinner, followed by more dishes being washed! But, there was water, so I was happy to wash dishes!
I also, I swear, spent about an hour under the shower, because body washing can never replace a shower! That was at midnight!
And I hadn't slept much for two nights, so, I fell into bed! Today I did 5 loads of washing! I have never been so happy to do washing, I tell you!
I hope everyone is having a good hump day! I am soon off to make dinner at our usual time. Thank you for all the hopes, kind words, caring and best wishes over these last few days!
Photo is of some more succulents, they can thrive without water, but thank you lawdy, the water is back! Yippeeee!

I am so happy for you, it is amazing how the things we so often take for granted are really appreciated when we no longer have them. Water and electricity are so vital to our lives these days.

I was just thinking about your situation and am so happy that your water came back and you were able to take a good shower again. Yes, some plants don't need much water but we need a lot of water to function and be clean and happy.

@moffittjc it was the lack of water, I blame the lack of water! Lol! Um, I like to read, listen to music and drink pretty cocktails

wow, let us raise the roof. that is really a joyful experience listening to, and actually touching the water from the faucets.

@bluesa we are also having slow movement of water every morning. as what my sister says, her pee is stronger than the water.

I think many times you never appreciate something so much as when you have been without for a bit, and when you get it back it almost feels like Heaven.

2 days of water is indeed a bad situation. I hate it when the local doesn't give us any notice of the water shortage. Dis you get the notice? Imagine the smell of the toilet!

@peachpurple , there was no notice given, a construction worker had hit a pipe by mistake. Lucky we had water we got from water trucks to flush the toilet.
