@mandala100 aka Peter, a mylot dear pal, asked whether I could upload the picture of my dear teddy the other day when I commented in his post. So here it is, my teddy bear who had been sleeping with me for 40+ years. She is 40+ years old, I called her Bear Bear. She was bought from England , a gift from my second aunt who was so rich that she travels aboard frequently. See the bird pendant over her neck? That was a free gift that comes along with a tidbits that my grandmother bought when I was ten years old. I learn to crochet but failed to make anything except for a string necklace for my teddy. So what do you think? Dirty? Stinky? Nope, she is my darling, who sleeps with me everyday! Photo taken by peachpurple

@LadyDuck Oh your polar bear is far better looking than mine. Do you sleep with your teddy or put her in the shelf?

yeah, I could not wash her because the cotton inside had brittle. If I did, she would become skinny and take a week to dry out. She is my treasure indeed. thanks

Nice story that you shared. A teddy bear for 40 years as your best friend is amazing. In the words of the late Mel Allen "How about that?"

@peachpurple Do not do it. I have taken heat for liking Wordgirl which played on PBS Kids from 2007-2015 even though it is billed as a kids cartoon.

40 years? That's a long time friend and you're teddie is still with you. That's good. He looks dirty though but that's okay since you loved it. I don't have teddy bears, I'm afraid of them when night comes. I always imagine them like a doll who get possessed That's why I dont have dolls and teddies and I dont watch horror movies

@renicemae oh did you watch Child's Play? That is the doll movie that kills people at night. Don't think about it
