Carolina was coming for a late lunch each Sunday for a literary workshop with me. As she had before left me for a paid workshop she did not like, I told her she´d have to pay me for mine, even if we used the money to buy delicious food to share. She accepted. Today I asked her to buy donuts at Dunkin donuts for us. She had eaten lunch at Claudia´s house with my sister and her husband. She brought 6 donuts and we ate and ate while I explained what she had to check in her writing and what not to repeat. The moments with Carolina are cherished by me. She is going away in less than a month and I won´t see her for over a whole year. It could be more if she decides to stay in pain after her Master ends. I gave her homework to do and stopped myself from grasping her and not letting her go so far away. It is SO difficult to let go! The price of a workshop is a box of donuts that she paid for. I had to do that so that she feels she has to come. I know I will help her if she needs money during her time in Spain.
