Walking at night: stupid or a good idea??

Lately it seems like there's not enough time in the day. I want to walk at least one whole hour a day but most of my days are jammed packed, especially with getting everything ready for the kids to go back to school. I'm thinking about taking walks at night. Around maybe 10pm or so because it would be nice and cool and that's when I seem to have some free time. What does everyone else think about that??

If you feel it safe, definitely! If you live in an area with a lot of crime Id say no. I also want to get in the habit of going on walks as well but like you find it hard to find the time some days

With the kids going back to school and I was just told that I have a week of training the same week the kids go back to school, I have to coordinate everyone's schedule. I have to take my uncle to work at 3am, get the kids to school by 7:15 and then drive to my training that's an hour away and be there by 7:30. It's looking like the next couple weeks, I wont have any time at all to walk so I'm thinking that I'm just going to walk when I can where I can. I recently bought a new Wii U Fit board so maybe when I can't walk, I'll use that for a few hours.

I can relate with your time scheduling, so, I also did my workout at night time. But, I don't go for a walk outside home instead, I use our stairs going up and down for 30 minutes and that really works for my body and muscles.

I have seen many people are walking after their dinner. It will be a nice idea as the food will get digest easily. So there is nothing wrong to make your walking time at time.

If you live in a safe area than it is ok to go for a walk at night.

I would not do that when I am alone. Bring your hubby or friend with you.
