Yesterday, I posted a discussion about Miller Coors and Anheuser-Busch halting beer production to can water to send to Houston, which has been hammered by Hurricane Harvey. Today, Oskar Blues, a local brewery based out of Longmont, Colorado (really good beer, by the way!) joined in, halting beer production in order to can water as well. They expect to can 88,000 cans of water for the cause, according to KXRM Fox 21 news in Colorado Springs. It's good to see another brewery stepping up to help. Article linked below.
Trucks carrying the cans are expected to arrive in Texas later this week.

The Red Cross is asking for money rather than blankets and stuff. Apparently, they have enough of that stuff, but need money.

@teamfreak16 I hear that Red Cross is asking for donations but not all goes to the storm. It's evenly distributed for other use too or other emergencies.

@infatuatedbby - I wouldn't be surprised if that's how it works.

Exactly. Especially with the free publicity they are getting.

I read the Bud one of Facebook earlier and I swear people have something negative to say about everything these days. Hey, I am always the first to rant about corporations, but people always take things to far. Anyway, good to see another company stepping up.

It is nice of them. Of course, they are getting a bunch of free publicity for it. But it's still great that they are doing it. A lot of companies wouldn't.

Oh that's awesome. I love it when people do something for the greater good. I wonder if it would have been easier for a bottled water company to donate... seeing as they make water, already. That and I would like to drink water out of a can rather than a bottle, so I hope that catches on
