Good morning,Just thinking a way back in Jr.High School. After school I always went to a dept. store. The first place was the record dept. They had these booth that you can listen . I was always intrigued with Edgar Allen Poe. These were 78's.Edgar Allen Poe the Raven was the one I always listened to. I could not afford to buy the album, but able to hear it in the booth. Today I felt needed to hear some I chose this one. Here is a little bit of The Raven from online. Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary, Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore— While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping, As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door. “’Tis some visitor,” I muttered, “tapping at my chamber door— Only this and nothing more.”

A flashback from the 1840's, you are not that old! The Raven has been translated in French by several good poets, among them Charles Baudelaire and Stéphane Mallarmé.

I remember the Raven. I just read two posts or discussions on Poe. You and Arthur should get together to discuss Poe if you are still into him.
