As I gaze at the beautiful Harvest Moon tonight, I am thinking that one month from tomorrow our baby will marry the girl of his dreams.
The count is in. The dinners have been chosen. Plans for the bachelorette dinner and party are made, as well as the bachelor party. The honeymoon is set. The kids are calm.
So why am I a nervous wreck? I've done this before with our older son. I should be a pro at this.
Could it just be excitement?
Now I seem to have the wedding jitters.

It is an exciting time. Everything will be just perfect. It will be here before you know it so if you have the wedding jitters now you will be over them by the time the day arrives and you will be able to relax and enjoy their special day. They are a beautiful couple.

Do you know that this year it is an exception? The Harvest Moon (Full Corn Moon) will be on the 5th of October? The closest day to the winter equinox. It is very unusual that it comes in October and just the night before the wedding. I thought to mention because it's so unusual and exciting.

We have the right to be a nervous wreck. Mom's rule. When my son married his beautiful bride, I was a wreck too. The wedding was beautiful. The only hitch was the blizzard they had that day. Good thing we had a vehicle with 4wd or many people would have been stuck at the bottom of the road.

You have just turned into a lightning rod for all the energy of the wedding nerves. They look like a lovely couple and I am sure they will appreciate you taking a hit for them and having all the nervousness.

I can feel your anxiety about the wedding. You want it to be perfect since you have done this before. Well, this is normal I guess since there are variables that always come when we least expected it. Just stay calm and steady. Just do what you think is right. Everything will just fall in place.
Your son is a lucky man. His soon-to-be wife is a beauty. Now, I am feeling some pressure too to find the woman whom I will share my life until we aged.

@kobesbuddy I go for massages regularly. I always feel relaxed afterwards, but my tension comes back later on, on days when I'm tense. I think I will need one every day until the wedding is over. lol

@DianneN Maybe it's time for you to think about a good massage, to keep you relaxed. I've never had one but, I've heard they work wonders to release any internal stress!
