I hate my speaking voice.

I can sound manly when I sing but when I talk I sounded like a 16 year old surfer kid.I wish I sounded like Morgan Freeman or Kevin Conroy.
I sounded like Michael Angelo from Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles. I hate my speaking voice more when it is recorded.
For sure I can modulate my voice if I want but you cannot just modulate all day long.Your natural voice will always show up.
I have to show up my ID on a bar even though I am 33 because I apparently look and sounded under age when I shave my face and when I talk. I guess I will grow a beard again.
I am just mad because a Bar forced me to show my ID. Seriously that Guard almost ruined my date.

Oh but I think you are fortunate! Long gone are the days when I was carded (I now have to force them to even look at my ID 
). I'm Asian and still look young for my age, but I don't dye the grays - that's probably the biggest giveaway. Oh well.
I have never liked hearing my own speaking voice. I mumble and just sound "weird" - at least to my ears - but obviously this is what people hear. But I'm not about to audition to be a radio host, so I don't worry about it too much .

@CaptAlbertWhisker Why are you plucking the grays? Don't they say they come in more when you do that? I actually think men look more "distinguished" as they start graying. Did they not card your date too?
Didn't you mention too that you did voice overs? I would love doing that, but my voice doesn't lend to do that sort of thing. Working at a call center, you probably have good pronunciation and such . . . your voice is probably better than you think

I am starting to grow some grays but I pluck them like crazy. I do like looking young, Asian don't raisin after all. The Hispanic genes is not strong enough to stop me from Asian aging. My 28 year old date suddenly felt old because the older guy she is with got carded.
I wanted to be a game streamer and my voice is my biggest hurdle. I am not sure if my voice can convince people to subscribe. Years of working on a call center means I had heard my speaking voice so many times recorded.

I just want to have a warm belly that night because it is very cold. I am also in a date and she was almost mistaken for dating a minor when I am 5 years older than her. My voice ruined my day.

That is not my natural voice though. I can do voiceovers and sound like Markliplier but not do it all day long. I can do voiceover jobs but that is for few minutes. My natural speaking voice on the other hand sounded bad.

Ah, first-world problems... 
Our recorded voice sounds different because the element that is normally transmitted through the bones of the cranium is missing. I don't think I know anyone who likes listening to their own voice being played back at them...
Sorry about the doorman on your date - some would take that as a compliment.

I was originally from a 3rd world country but I am having 1st world problems now since I moved here.
Back in the Philippines I never mistaken for a minor. I guess Canadian teens are taller.

Most people hate their own voices. 
At least you have a good singing voice, from what I read.
I think I sound like a duck when I sing.
And I think my voice is the one of a 12/13 years old boy. 
Here they might still ask you for ID, no matter your facial hair. Oh sweet paranoia. 
But beard is the trend, so JUST GROW IT!

The only downside of beards is a guy will be mistaken for a terrorist instead.
I wish my singing voice can be my speaking voice. Talking like Anthony Kiedis sounds better than sounding like Keannu Reaves in Bill and Ted.
