I am not out the door yet, but that is alright. We are not in any hurry today.
The dishes are in the dishwasher. Hubby fixed breakfast.
I had thawed some little loaves of quick breads. I made them last month when my grandkids were here. I do some of the batter as muffins and then the rest becomes small loaves. Hubby sliced and buttered and grilled the cherry muffin bread. It was good. I put peanut butter on mine for protein.
I have a large cup filled with thyme tea. I have looked up addresses of stores.
Hubby is emptying his work stuff out of the car. Princess has been fed twice. She has found a cozy corner to sleep in for a while.
My back and knee are both much better. I am just about ready to hit the road.

I have found this very basic muffin recipe and it is a breeze to make and really great to customize.

Yes, I just steep thyme leaves as I would black tea and sip on that. It is antibacterial and tastes good to me.

It was a good day. The Hobby Lobby is a brand new store. The Mexican restaurant was delicious. The zoo was relaxing.

We start early, at 5 in the morning. I only gave her a small serving. I gave her more while we ate to defend us from her being a "vulture" about our food. She will not get any more wet food until evening as we will be gone all day.
