Will You Wait?

On Friday, we were able to ask the students to experience the Sunday service.
We set the time and to meet with them in a popular fastfood resto. The schedule 8:30 AM.
There are 5 students who came in early. And there are two that are still on their way to the meeting place.
It's already 9:17 AM. They are late. Will you still wait for them?
I messaged my buddy to leave the place so they can catch the 10:30 AM service.

I'd wait a few minutes but that's about it. There is a reason one sets a time.

if there was no other appointment, yes. but in your case, the fastfood place was just a meeting place to go to the worship venue, so no, i would go ahead then give instructions to the latecomers on how to get there.

No I would not wait. Go on to church, they may not really want to go and dont know how to say no.

Some people are not good at keeping appointments.
