Has any one here ever been a door-to-door sales person? In fact that work is interesting and one can really make money from that. Because you get chance to interact with customers and know their problems well and can convince them to buy. But the only disadvantage of it is that. some times some people think when you are dong that work, it mens, you cannot get any office work and so they don't recognize you to be any person in sociality

I did a long time ago. People don't want to be bothered or they'll let you in just to have someone to talk to. I hate door to door salespeople. I have signs outside forbidding anyone who I haven't invited to come on my property. If I want a product, I'll actively look for it, otherwise leave me alone. Is that the type of work you are doing now? If so, I hope you don't meet many like me and that you are successful.

I think door-to-door is quite outdated, these days we have call centers or internet marketing for the same purpose. And people still don't want to be bothered most of the time. It can be hard if you lack of charisma or skills to convince people to buy your product. The economic crisis doesn't help much.

These days it doesn't matter the kind of job you do,whether its a sales job or an office job,all that matters is the amount of money you put on the table at the end of the day
