Frozen sandwiches !

In an effort to save money, hubby and I try to take sandwiches to work every day instead of buying them. Well this time I have an experiment. On Saturday I made a weeks worth of ham and mustard sandwiches, wrapped them all individually and put them in the freezer. Every night I will put two in the fridge to defrost every day. If this works it will save me time in the week which is great. Have you ever done this?

I have used frozen bread when making sandwiches. The sandwich keeps colder longer. Never froze a sandwich though.

@YesWay I would worry about moisture from the ham making the bread soggy as the ham thaws.

@ElusiveButterfly that's what I was worried about too so I will have to see how it goes.

It works, I have done this before and worked very well, not only with ham, but also using omelette or shredded meats.

It sounds like a good idea. It will also save you some money by going to a restaurant.
