The Poo Room

At work I have never shirked my duties or refused to clean a room until a couple of weeks ago. Room 316 was supposed to be a stay over but when I opened the door I was hit by the smell of, yep, poo. That in itself isn't unusual as some guest think it is the housekeeper's job to flush the toilet. It isn't, so get that idea out of your head in case you're thinking that! I walk into the room to find no belonging in the room except for trash and that smell. Head to the bathroom to flush the toilet and there it is. The poo. On the toilet, on the floor, in the tub and other places. I immediately get out of the room, go downstairs and tell the manager on duty. I don't think she believed me but called for my supervisor to meet me at the room. As we survey the poo damage I see more poo that I didn't see before. This time on a poo covered towel laying on the bed. Now you may be wondering who would do such a thing. A kid? Nope. Dog maybe. Nope. This was a grown woman! She had gone down to the front desk and checked out with not a single word or warning about what we'd find in the room. Then she had the audacity to actually call later that day to say she had left some clothes in the closet! I told the manager they should send them to her with a turd on top!
