Hubby used to bowl, a lot. We have not gone bowling in about three years, and he had the stroke last summer. I saw on Facebook that a nearby town needed someone for leagues and I told him he was going. Bob bowled the first time last night. He is not pleased with his scores, and he had to use my ball which is lighter than his. He has been having some back pain, etc. This was good for him. I think we all need to play more. Me, last night I moved the desk inside from the trailer, by myself.

That's good you went bowling. Even though he wasn't happy with his scores, I hope he enjoyed it.

It will be great therapy for Bob to bowl on a regular basis. Very good exercise for him.

I think the most importance is that your husband enjoys bowling. Of course such kind of exercise is also good for his health. Practice makes the perfect. Your husband will get back his bowling ability after playing it more often.

Yes, he will improve again with time. The people who bowl are nice people for him to meet as well.

Yeah, he is using my 12 pound ball as the 16 is too heavy for him right now.

I used to bowl quite a bit too, and I ran a kids bowling league for about 6 years. I started to have problems in my shoulder and had to quit bowling but I do miss it.

I think my sore shoulder is part of why I do not do real well when I do go. I admire people who help kids learn lifetime skills.

@GardenGerty Thanks. For me it didn't hurt while I bowled but later in the day, I couldn't lay on my shoulder I am a side sleeper. I had to quit just so I could sleep.
