My Second Family. . .

This is the picture of us, officers and staff last September 15, when we launched Instawin, an online gaming shop.
The general manager wasn’t able to attend because she has to attend an invitation for a just recent invitation to attend a forum at another city.
But even without her, the launching turned out nice and enjoyable. And oh the foods were delicious!
We are just all by ourselves because the gamers are so ashamed of showing up, lest they will be tagged as gamblers.
As you can see in the picture, we are all like a big family.
Actually, I consider them as my second family. I may not have a very high salary but I am happy working with everyone.
I am always excited to report to work on Mondays because I will get to see and interact with all of them while working. You see, in the office, everyone would make jokes while working and everyone will roar laughing.
Are your officemates or co-workers nice to work with too?

Thank you.
I actually find it beautiful too because we appeared like one big family But in reality our relationships as co-workers is that of a big family.
That's good that you were also close to your former workmates. And it goes to say that you are a kind and understanding person, that is why they are close to you too.

@ridingbet Sudden change? Then maybe it's part of her menopausal stage.
Well, maybe your older brother can talk to her about not being a difficult companion at the house.

@SIMPLYD i know her for many years now, my lady. she should be the one to adjust herself to us because all of us see the sudden change in her personality. no, i do not want her to obey me, 'pero dapat umayos siya'. hahaha!

It's wonderful when you work with beautiful people you consider to be your family - it's more than just pay that you are getting from your work . When I was working, not everyone was family to me, but there were certain fellow employees I got along with real well with on and off work.

Indeed, it is that nice when one works in a company and have a harmonious relationship with everyone.
Work is inspiring and becomes lighter too.
Well, you cannot please everyone so there will always be one or two you will not be in good working relationship with. I think those are the ones who think highly of themselves than the other workers.

Yes, i get along with everyone. Even if some of them received some disciplinary action because of my audit findings I assure them that I am just doing my job and not because of personal reason. They understand. So, we all work in good harmony. No bad feelings .

@changjiangzhibin89 Indeed, I am fortunate to be working with them. And they are lucky that I am not a so strict auditor. I take considerations.

@SIMPLYD Although they received that, they showed understanding for what you had done, because it was your job.You are fortunate enough to work with those good officemates, but then,it is also because you are kind and considerate .

Yes, in this picture.
But actually, the men at the Operations and Maintenance departments are many. Some are on night shifts though and the ones on duty didn't come because they are ashamed they smell bad because they have done some clearing in our substation.

I work at home so no colleagues. You look like a nice big family. It is always more pleasant to work with people who treat each other like friends.

Yes, we are just like one big family. I am the mother, since I am the oldest woman.
Indeed, when working relationships are good amongst the employees, working is lighter and nicer that you would always feel happy going to the office each day.

That's the way it should be at most jobs - a bunch of happy workers. My son loves his job as a lawyer, but he only jokes around at parties or lunches. He bills his clients by the hour, so work it is. When I taught, I was too busy teaching, but joked a lot with the staff when we didn't have students around. I suppose it depends on what kind of work one does.

Yes, I agree with you. When workers are happy at work, they stay loyal to the company and that's how I am with my job.
Though of course, we should only be having fun when there is a lull time in our works. We can have jokes while we are working but not stop working just to make jokes.

When I was working, yes, we always have laughter, but we work so well even during lunch breaks.

Laughter amongst the employees is what adds color to their jobs and makes the work lighter.
But why, do you still work during lunch break? That's against the labor law.
Us, when ts lunch breaks we nap after takingour lunch. The lights are out so itsconducive to napping.
Some lare watching something on their mobile phones or laptops. Iam one of them.
I watch Wildflower on iwantv dunring llunch break, then would nap after that.
I eat an early lunch during snacktime at 10:00 that's why , I have lots of extra time.

Yes. Though the ones in blue except for 3 men, are the staff of our E-Bingo and Instawin.
But we are all in good rapport with everyone because they are connected with us all still since they request supply from the office and I audit their cash every day.

nope, my ex colleagues back stabbed me, cost me to lose my job and my manager forced me to resign for no purpose. It is hard to have a happy bunch of employees to work like a family when everyone has a motive to step over one another, you are just lucky

Really, they did that to you.
It's so hard indeed when your officemates like to step over one another. No one having a job is secure to stay long.
I think yes, I was just lucky.
This is the fourth job that I had. My past 2 earlier jobs weren't that much nice. Everyone has the ambition to be on top of each other. This and the one before this has the most wonderful working relationship.
