Heart catherazation testing

My bf just had a heart catherazation test done which was short but very painful. The doc didn't give pain meds to him and then got done said no heart issues and said no clots in any veins...so doc said no heart attacks cause hearts good. so I am wondering if there is something in his lungs or brain which are driving his heart rate so high....

I'm sorry he went through so much pain for that test. =(
I hope they can figure out what's wrong.

the specialist seems done with him and is sending him back to regular doctor. As my son has a nero doc we r calling him to have bf checked out there. Then next is a lung doctor. but ty you both for the comments.
