I used to love tapioca pudding when I was a kid, and as a matter of fact I still do, although I have hardly ever made it. I bought some tapioca pearls at one of the little markets here a number of years ago because they were half price or something. This is only the 3rd time I have made the pudding. There is a lot of stirring involved with this pudding..but it tastes really good. Do you like tapioca?

I find it intriguing that Americans uses tapioca for pudding. In Asia we add them in juices, smoothies, milk tea and milk shakes. We love chewing some tapioca while drinking. We use fat straws to drink beverages with tapioca.

@snowy22315 yup a black variety of tapioca. They are more chewy than the regular ones. You can also add them in creamy varieties of fruit salad.

It isn't that hard to make, but prepare to stir your arm off!

@amadeo They have it..I think Krusteaz makes a version. I think that is the name,,,the ones that make the rice pudding. Their rice and tapioca puddings are very good.
