Please and thank you

I still say that. I have no one to talk to these days so I cannot compare if people still say that or not.

I'm still doing this thing! :) and also same people around me.

It is quite common for me to say so. Even if I use it often when I write an email. This is already a habit.

I am big on manners andif I have kids ever they will be too. I agree it seems like more kids are raised not to have them.

I still say please and thank you. I've told my grandson that sometimes good manners will get you farther than being very educated.

Even giving gifts at Christmas, I'd love to hear a thank you, but usually don't. My one grandson always hugs me and says, 'Oh, Grandma, thank you, so much!' My heart melts

Well, being English and living in England which is ridiculous over the saying of "please" and "thank you" I hear it quite a lot. However,| thank you" is more often heard these days than" please." i come from the last generation where all mothers made you say it on pain of not getting whatever it was.

well it has to be taught, now we teach it to our kids at school, but we also have to teach basic skills more so than an average classroom

Please, when the situations require. Thanks, when anyone did me a favor. Yes, I still do that.
