A 2 yr. old's prayer / myLot

My husband usually says the blessing at our house. We have been trying, though, to teach our 2 yr. old grandbaby to say the blessing. Usually, my husband says a somewhat long prayer, like preachers do. Tonight we let our 2 yr. old Damon say it. His was short and sweet because he was ready to eat. He said, "Thank you for our food. The end!" Don't you just love the innocence and honesty of kids?

So adorable! My kids say a certain prayer before they eat. God is great, God is good and we thank Him for our food. By His hands we are fed, thank you Lord for our daily bread, Amen. =)

That is so precious. No matter the length of the prayer God always hears. I think it is wonderful that you have taught him to say blessings and he will probably want to do it more often.
