Today I called Claudia to ask her how could I help her and our conversation was changed into a threat that Sofía made Claudia will have to take a course in order to become a Magistrate (instead of the position as a Judge she has). While she was trying to study, Vicente and a friend got some fireworks and were going to light them. Claudia yelled (not at me, thanks be given) and told me then could she come to study at my house for the duration of the course. It was that I heard Sofia´s voice in anger. She told her mom that if she wasn´t going to be around, she´d leave the house. It seems that 7 year old people are quite different than what I was when I was a child My granddaughter has a strong personality. How are the children around you? picture by Pixabay

I know. I have taught my granchildren some manners that their parents don´t have the time to teach.

The children of my neighbors are pretty "old style" kids, they never yell to their parents and are respectful.

Sofía wasn´t really in anger. She was stating a fact.

@LadyDuck Sofía would be better if she did not have so many older people to pamper her. She is very respectful towards me because I love her, but I I don´t let her do all she wants to.

@marguicha The older son of my neighbor was a "rebel" when he was very young, but from the day his father told him he would have sent him in a collage he changed a lot.

I know. My youngest granddaughter is quite bossy as she is hampered all her life. She is 20 years younger than her eldest sister.

The one I often babysit every now and then, she is very gentle, spending time talking to her dolls. (Didn't know that your daughter is a very successful lady careerwise! I am so impressed.)
