Good afternoon.
Back home after receiving one unit of blood.
My level has been dropping and hopefully that will give it a boost.
It takes two hours for one unit.
Hopefully that this will give me some energy on our trip
We leave Monday morning.
Give you some idea on blood transfusion.
photo is public domaine.Should had Mike take a photo, next time.

Blood transfusions also are done during surgery and in emergency rooms. A needle is used to insert an intravenous (IV) line into one of your blood vessels. Through this line, you receive healthy blood. The procedure usually takes 1 to 4 hours.

That is a pretty good bit of time. I hope you feel better and more energized. Have to be able to play those tennis matches.

I have had a blood transfusion when I was 12. I had been hit by a car and needed emergency surgery on my left leg. I don't remember having the transfusion but my parents told me. They said it saved my life.
I hope it gives you more energy. Where are you going on your trip?
