Today I went back to the neighborhood to collect rent and to work an hour or so at the rental to fill the huge trash can for Monday pick up. Well I did not get a whole can full, Tony was not in the mood today.
What he wanted to do was shop, I do not know why I have plenty but I did need air filters for the a/c unit, so we shopped.
Now, I get home one hour before dark and I just gave up on anything outside so I began to can the pears.
BUT....
Then I started watching free HBO and that is the end of the story, nothing will get done!

@andriaperry First I mowed with the walk behind Weeder then I took a pickax to a stand of scratchy weeds that were taller than me. I'm tired.

@andriaperry I Love this show as well. Could do a Marathon myself and start from Season 1 all the way thru if I wanted. Might take me a long time though,

My husband is preparing our kitchen for some new cupboards. Tomorrow, they are being installed, so I will have our stove back, for cooking meals!:) I was busy on My Lot, most of the evening, to reach my goal, for September. I enjoyed myself, for a change!

@andriaperry This is the first time ever, for us. Everything has been old stuff and now, Jay was able to afford some new ones. My Dad built these cupboard by hand in 1958 so, they are pretty old.

I wanted to watch disc 2 of season 1 of "This is Us" last night. My pillow beckoned me so I gave it a hug and that was it for the night.

@andriaperry some days it is like that, just lay down and zap, you are out. Other days it is a struggle to fall asleep. The battle begins way before you lay down. Ugh.

I got these from my old lady, the inheritance, they were raw with nothing on them so one day I decided to paint the blue with a brush and they live on the dryer by the back door.

They are done, I got 12 half pints of cinnamon pear preserves. I am about to blanch grapes and home can those in light syrup; Tomorrow I have another bucket to peel.
