Effect of theme on blog or forum

Aside the beautification a theme add to a forum or blog, it is important that the theme reflect the message your blog is trying to pass. A theme is either dark or light and also vary in colour. If you are to design a blog or forum which kind and colour of theme will you apply in the education and Health sections.?

I think for health it should be black and white with some green thrown in perhaps. For education, I think it would depend on the subject. I love colors but I know that certain colors can distract from the main point.

@Mrgana1 As long as the color does not take away from the point. I do like sky blue.
