Ford Vs. Chevy

So, I know this topic can get quite a bit heat from one side or the other, but why not. It's one of my favorite discussions and people from both sides usually have good points. I am personally a chevy fan. With that being said, of course I own a GM product. 2002 Pontiac Trans Am, LS1 so my preference is obvious there. The LS motor is superior .

I owned mainly Chevy's. My husband is a die hard Ford man. We both have Ford vehicles. His is an F150 truck and I have an Explorer. I had a great Ford Taurus that I loved. Lost it in an accident (not my fault) that totaled it.

Their trucks are great! Build to last, but we've always been for Chevy. Now we race so comparing the ford "sports" car to Chevy, chevy wins hands down in my opinion! I drive a 2002 Pontiac trans am now and absolutly love it! A pain in the tail to work on but well worth it!

@katlynn2157 my husband would challenge you on that point. He is sold on Ford products and swears they are the fastest, best, blah, blah, blah.

@ElusiveButterfly It would make for a goon conversation for sure! It's one of those things that one side will never change the others mind! But Chevy's LS is faster LOL ??

We had a second hand Ford Cortina in England and it took us everywhere it was really a great car and it broke my heart to have to sell it as we did so many miles in it. The only thing that ever went wrong was a small hole in the radiator and that was when we had just bought it for 500 quid. I never owned a Chevy but have seen loads of them they seem very reliable too.

@katlynn2157 Our eldest son was very small so we stuck with the Ford Cortina very reliable on snowed up English roads and going into Wales also very snowed up sometimes too. Great car in all.

They are a pretty good built vehicle. Personally, between chevy and ford it is all in what you want. Want pulling power a for is the way to go, want speed better get a chevy

I never had a Ford and I had Chevies and loved them. Do not drive a car now. I have a scooter and drive that.
