Last Saturday was the morning after the wedding brunch. We hosted it for out-of-town guests and local friends and family. The photo shows the happy bride and groom, now husband and wife! They celebrated their one week anniversary, yesterday.
After a week of texts, phone calls, emails, photo sharing, Facebook, and visits from the newlyweds, we are getting back into a nice and normal routine.
That means getting back into the swing of things.
At the brunch, a date was set and we were invited to our longtime friends' home for cocktails and nibbles, before going out to dinner with them at our favorite Italian restaurant this evening.
It's nice to return to normal. What are your Saturday night plans?

After this past 2 weeks I am proud to say I am at home today, I may step out this evening but right now I am happy and lazy.

After hearing about your lovely plans, mine will pale mighty fast! LOL We have a coupon for a Little Caesar's Deep Dish Pizza for supper and then, watch Star Wars newest movie, with my hubby:) Your son and daughter-in-law's photo brought tears to my eyes

Thank you! It's always time for Doodles, and now Kuma. That's part of the problem. He's allowing me to myLot right now, only because I just took him for his second long walk of the day and he's napping. I swear, it's like having two newborns here! lol

I need time. Time!!!! I must pencil some in for just me. You are just as crazy busy, too! We had a wonderful time, because they are wonderful lifelong friends. Thank you! I love those two. My baby is married and I still can't believe it!

No Saturday night plans, but I did have Saturday morning plans that was awesome. Our first women's brunch group meeting for the ladies at my church. It was a great get together and the food looked and smelled delicious. I stuck to my diet. There was one dish she made that I could eat and it was good. Sweets covered the table. I don't gain weight by looking and there was a lot to look at.
I hope your dinner plans with your friends goes wonderful and the food is superlative.
