Since it keeps raining, we went shopping

In the middle of the afternoon all of our power went out, as well as the internet. It came back on quickly, but the internet did not. That is a part of the reason you have not seen me this afternoon. When the going gets tough, the tough go shopping. It has been at least two or maybe three weeks since we have done a major shop, so we did. I have been wanting to make one of my huge lasagnas--so I can portion it up for us to have lunches. Hubby said he wants to make some beef stew. We spent at bit of money. We also got a phone card for hubby's phone. I am thankful that we have enough money to do this all at once. I am also thankful we have eaten well, without going out to eat. There were some barbecue ribs the store had prepared, at a very good price. While I put away groceries, my husband put our evening meal together. Ribs, potatoes, tomatoes, guacamole. It was great. Very satisfying, and inexpensive. That is just one more thing to be thankful for.
