Rainy Sunday

Happy Sunday everyone! It's drizzling here today and it's just plain nasty looking outside. Dull and dreary. Perfect for staying inside and curling up with a good book or movie.
So far no sales on the few things I have listed on Ebay. Plenty of views but no sales. I've even reduced the price and still nothing. I might try listing them on our local yardsale page on Facebook and see if I do better there. Maybe I should have done that first? who knows when it comes to catching just the right person for something. It's just a matter of timing when it comes to selling I think.
The remake of Dynasty was this week and I watched it last night. Haven't made up my mind if I like it or not so I guess I'll watch another episode before I decide if I want to continue with the series. I always loved the old Dynasty with all the drama and mayhem and don't know if these new characters can live up to the legacy. Did you watch it?
Not much happening here and I'm happy with peaceful and quiet.

It is going to be in the low 90s here in the LA area. A stay inside day to escape the sun.

Good morning.
The winds of change are blowing thru our area today and we'll be feeling cooler temperatures, the high for tomorrow is half of what we will experience today.
I just put some dry barbeque seasonings on a roast and put it into the slow cooker, I bought some garlic liquid seasoning that I'll baste it with once it starts cooking. It should end up garlic roast beef in the end, we shall see. At any rate, the slow cooker allows for hands-free cooking, which I do enjoy.

Anything I can make in the slow-cooker is my kind of meal. I made meatballs and sauce in my slow-cooker yesterday which was great since I really didn't have to worry about the stirring every so often. Enjoy your roast...sounds delicious

@Marilynda1225 Thanks, it smells good, the colour is really rich. I have a squash and some mashed potatoes to go along with it. Should make for a nice meal.

Dynasty was rather disappointing but I'll give it another try to see if I can relate to the characters.

We had our first snowfall yesterday and it was about an inch deep!! I think that winter has arrived in Manitoba! :(

We've had very mild temperatures for October here in my part of the US. It's nice to not have to worry about cold weather clothes yet

We saw Dynasty this week. Not sure if I like it or not, but like you, may give it one more watch.
Our son popped by for 3 1/2 hours. I had planned to read and nap on this dreary day, but when he arrived, he brought the sunshine with him. His wife had a talk back at her theater today. He met her at her parent's house for Sunday dinner. My hubs ordered and picked up dinner from a great restaurant. So it was a very pleasant day, afterall!

Ebay is a sllllooooowwwww selling site. I did Craig`s list and sold over $2,000 worth of stuff in less than a month. I did sale a few items through the local facebook yard sale sites but those people are cheap! I was asking $150 for a full size solid oak bed frame with the mattress set, some people offered me $50 others wanted the mattress set only for $25, I took it off facebook.
