If CNN's "The History of Comedy" is right, 'millennials' like me get the best news from Comedy Central (mostly THE DAILY SHOW, and of course SNL's "WEEKEND UPDATE," & now also Late Night with Stephen Colbert, among others). One of those 'others' is (or 'will be') THE OPPOSITION with Jordan Klepper, and it's a funny-funny show; but I feel I have to address one of their latest stories---the story on Oklahoma's budget-cuts for education while giving 'big oil' a tax-break! https://youtu.be/-VojHT92LGI Now I'm not "defending" the Oklahoma legislature's budget-decisions, but I just want my fellow comedy-news-watching millennials (I always forget one of the 'L's or one of the 'N's there ... it's M-I-L-L-E-N-N-I-A-L-S!) to understand that 1) Oklahoma legislators know how crucial & -vitally important education (a.k.a. "school") is to turning children into functioning, prosperous, tax-paying adults, but 2) "You can't get blood from a turnip!" The oil-industry MAKES MONEY; the schools DO NOT MAKE MONEY. As precious as the children are, the return-on-that-investment is a lot slower than the return-on-investment in the oil!

I like to see a fellow Oklahoman dispel the myths placed by the less than informed.
