I had seen some online teaching bloopers lately. I never thought that it will happen in one of my online classes. My student and I were having a discussion about wild creatures in the forest. With such enthusiasm, I asked this question: “What would you do if you were in the forest and the bush was moving?” The student answered with full confidence that he will definitely run for his life. Now, the follow-up question was, “Why are you going to run?” The student said, “It might be a ghost behind the bushes.” Oh, boy! I just laughed out loud and thought that it can be a possible answer. I was anticipating that it might be a big bear lurking behind the bushes.
How about you, guys?
Would you run or investigate?

I would go back the same way as I got there but trying not to run of course.
But a lot would panic.
Even I might panic if I can´t see what is there.
Maybe better not to know what could be there anyway.

No, panic means survival as it is part of our system to protectt us and make us try and escape at the very least.
Good job we have the panic button in all of us.

I would run too. The bush could be any kind of dangerous animal.

That is a very interesting question. I would wonder if I was hallucinating first and since I am a curious person may go check it out to see if it really is moving and then maybe run for the hills or for where people are around and ask them to check it out with me.

I'd take my shoes off. Oh, wait. That was when Moses in the Old Testament saw the burning bush.
